Am I overreacting?

Question

So today I just found out that my boyfriend has been liking another woman’s  pictures. Now it’s one thing that he likes a girls pic, to be honest I don’t really care if he does that, but he’s specifically liking her more risqué pictures. he and I have been together for about 2 years now and we both agree that it’s okay to look at others If that’s all we do but I don’t know, i think liking their pictures is something else. I’m just a bit confused myself and would like your insight on this? A part of me is thinking it’s just my insecurities that are making me feel this way and another part of me is thinking that I’m probably just overreacting? Some help would be nice.

I'd point out that you're fine with him liking pictures of women but you're concerned that he's liking specific pictures of the same woman and you're not ok with that . I don't thinknyoure overreacting at all

I’m fine if my husband likes his friends’ pictures (even if they’re female), but I had found like porn stars and just women known for their body on his Instagram that he had liked and I confronted him about it. I told him that it bothers me because they look better than I feel that I do. He understood and unfollowed the women that he didn’t need to follow. You’re not overreacting, just concerned.

I would ask him why he does it? Like what is he getting out of liking these images? Apart from upsetting the one girl he is supposed to care about? Just be honest and say you don't mind but it does make you feel a bit bad about yourself when he does. Girls can't help but compare themselves especially if their boyfriend is going round liking these images.

I've been in the same boat before, communication is key! Talk to him about it and explain that you feel uncomfortable that he's liking those types of photos of other girls.
