Difficult roommate conversation

Hi everyone!

So my roommate this morning while we were walking up to campus casually informed me that she was looking at a different apartment with someone else for next year. I’m a junior in college and we’ve lived together for the past year and a half. For her to bring it up in passing really took me back and hurt me. I understand that she and I weren’t close anymore and it’s fine for her to want to live else where. However I wish she would have come talk to me at a different time. With that being said I asked to have a conversation with her tonight, and for the most part I know what I’m going to say. But I really don’t know how to end the conversation and walk away from it. Does anyone have any tips as to how I can wrap up a difficult conversation? Thanks guys.
