Bleeding after sex..?

My actual period started today. Everything is exactly like it normally is during it. Sore breasts, pretty rough cramps, etc. If I’m no longer “randomly bleeding” once my period ends, do you ladies think I️ should still go to a doctor?

This is probably a TMI post. But I️ don’t know what to do. So.

My husband and I️ had sex last Tuesday, Nov. 14th. It was normal, average sex. Nothing spontaneous, nothing intense. Just normal, “I️ love you” sex. Afterwards, when I️ was using the restroom, I️ noticed I was bleeding. At first, I️ didn’t think anything of it. This has happened a few times before. Well, today is Wednesday, Nov. 22nd, and I’m still bleeding. I’m not supposed to start my period until Saturday. It’s different each time I️ use the restroom. Sometimes it’s heavy with a tiny clot, sometimes it’s as if I’m just simply spotting, sometimes it’s bright red, sometimes it’s dark brown.

Moral of this story: I️ was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so, what did you do about it? My husband thinks I️ should go to Minor Emergency, but I️ don’t think I️ should yet. I️ don’t want it to be something stupid and me have to pay an absurd amount of money for it, but I also don’t want it to be something serious. I️ have googled my symptoms many times and each time it basically says I️’m either completely fine or that I️ have cancer.

So, women of Glow, help a sister out. What have you done, or what would you do, in this situation? Thanks so much in advance!!
