Is the attention in the wrong place?

Alright so. A friend posted this on her page and apparently she went to school with him. She made a sad comment about how they went to school together and it's so sad he is gone. Long story short, the young man was possibly intoxicated and got on the interstate going the wrong direction. He hit a female head on and caused her to end up in the hospital. He also caused a huge wreck with a semi who was behind the Nissan. Yet...all I see all over my facebook are people mourning his death. No one is talking about the victims. I can sort of see both sides. My friends argument was that regardless of his bad choices, he was someone’s family that didn’t make it home. And the victims as of now, are going to walk home. What do you think?
