Am I just being insecure?

Hi guys so my boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year and a half. In the past 6 months or so, he’s been more obvious about what kind of women he finds attractive, celebrities or otherwise, and they all look waaaay different than me. I am a bigger girl, and I’ve always owned my body and rocked my shit, but it seems like all the celebrities he likes are skinny, blonde and short. I am none of those things lol. 
He says he loves me every day, he says I’m his soulmate, wants to marry me - all that good stuff. I brought it up to him and he’s like yeah but they’re not you. But I can’t help but feeling like maybe he settled for me and isn’t actually attracted to me? Idk if that makes sense but it’s just bothering the hell out of me. Am I just insecure? Is this normal for guys?

My boyfriend isn't EXACTLY my ideal looking guy, but I'm still super attracted to him and I love him more than anything and even if this imaginary ideal guy existed and liked me I still would rather be with my boyfriend :)

I mean you could be thinking too much into it. For me I see celebrities and I'm like "omg he's handsome" but in reality i wouldn't be with them if I had the chance because I love my boyfriend. So yours can still love and be attracted to you while having the celebrity crushes.

I completely understand where your coming from and I think it’s okay whatever your feeling to feel insecure sometimes. We are human we all have are insecurities. However that’s just something we need to work on within ourselves. Now unless he was doing something that personally makes you feel insecure like for example whistling at celebrities on tv or on the street, or saying how sexy they are in front of you (whatever that would bother you personally), then I would say maybe he just isn’t for you or you should communicate about those actions. But in this case thankfully you expressed your feelings to him about you insecurities and he’s reassured you that he love you just the way you are. As corny as that sounds if you trust him (which I think you so) then work on believing it yourself! As humans we all have things we are personally attracted to. So just because our spouses may not have that doesn’t mean your angles or they don’t find you beautiful. I’m in love with my boyfriend for him! His soul. Not for his looks. I love the way he looks and things about his looks but I’m mainly in love with him as an individual. Your  boyfriend probably wouldn’t be with you if he didn’t have something he loves about you that makes him stay with you every day. Your awesome! Your you! Learn to love the fact that others love that about you! 😊❤️
