Midwife VS ObGyn Discussion

Hi all!

Dh and I are getting ready for TTC in early of next year. In the meantime, I’m trying to soak up as much info as possible because I’m a control freak and pretty obsessive. I mean like, I won’t say that I have a baby board on Pinterest with over 600pins...but I won’t say I that don’t have one either.

With that said, we live a vegan/plant-based lifestyle and want to make sure that we have someone taking care of us during the pregnancy who, may not be plant/based themselves, but isn’t opposed to it and acknowledges the health benefits.

I’ve read that a lot of people are using midwives and/or an ObGyn.

What is your experience with one or both?

Do you have any regrets?

Can a midwife deliver your baby in a hospital or just a birthing center?

Basically, I’m lost.
