Have you ever chosen the unpopular selection on a poll and not commented? Why?

I’ve noticed a sad reality in CC. It’s sad because it limits our ability to have constructive conversations. Many days people post polls and many others vote and comment. But inevitably in many of these polls the people who choose the less popular choice never actually comment. Sometimes there are a few. Other times only one side comments. Worse yet, too many times someone calls out the people who are perhaps in the or minority. We have this community which I believe should serve as a place to share conflicting ideas, but instead people anonymously vote and say nothing because others gang up on them. So...

Have you ever voted and not joined a conversation?
