My baby boy is sick. He's coughing, runny/stuffy nose, he temp is on the rise. Seems like he's coughing up stuff "mucus" as he seems to be getting choked by it every time he coughs. I've been giving him Benadryl also.

Does his cough sound barky at all? Definitely would call pediatrician. If he’s stuffed up and congested, could be croup, maybe just a basic cold. Better to know though. In any case, holding him in or outside a hot steamy shower (away from the water touching his skin obviously) but where he can breathe in the steam helps to act as an expectorant and get some of the mucus up. Also, putting baby Vick’s in a humidifier in his room. Good luck, hope baby feels better quick!

How old is he? 
Have you been giving him anything for his temp? Tylenol or Motrin? (Also depends on age, Motrin I believe only older babies can have 6mo and up).
If he’s older than 3 months I would put baby Vick’s on his chest, I also use this trick where I put it on his feet too and cover his feet with socks. If he’s younger than 3 months just do the feet trick - too young to have Vick’s on his chest.
