Feeling bad for Christmas?
Ok I'm going to rant.
A few hours ago me and one of my co workers were talking, killing time and she asked me what all my daughter was getting for Christmas. I named off maybe 10-15 things, which included everything me and my husband, my side of the family, and his side of the family were getting her (that I knew about) and half of that was clothes. She then preceded to get upset with me and told that my child was getting too much (which she probably is but I can't control what other people buy) and that I should be thinking of the people who can't afford to get their kids much, such as her self before I start bragging...
I WAS IN NO WAY BRAGGING. Just answering HER question. Mind you, this co worker makes the same amount if not more than I do. Although I don't know her financial situations, you can't tell me that in 12 months you can save at least $5 or $10 a paycheck to give your kid/kids a Christmas? Yes, I feel bad for kids who don't get much but I will never feel bad for the parents. I have bills and debt just like the next person and I work my butt off to provide for my family.
End of rant.
