Advice on health insurance for fertility

Me and my husband have been trying for 2 years married for 5 months were finally getting health insurance together but unfortunately themost affordable health insurance I found only covered the the DIAGNOSIS of fertility issue will not help with the problem, my husband wants to do it , i on the other hand feel its pricy just for diagnosis and second we only ever tried by having unprotected sex to conceive just recently we started actually trying by me trackingmy ovulation, taking my prenatals and vitamins that are suppose to make my hyper ovulation , we found out his sperm count is only a 11 million i feel if we continue a lil longer we might get our bfp, what do yall guys think could i be right or after 2 years should we definitely go get diagnosed? Secondly is diagnosis even expensive I would rather pay on my own then be stuck with insurance I didn’t need
