Every right to be pissed? *VENTING*

Okay so my brother, sister in law, and niece all live in Florida. We live in Alabama. Well, They have come down to spend the week with us and this is the first time in 15 years that my brother has been home spending Christmas with the family. I’m almost positive he’s taking advantage of the situation. My mom works 24/7, also night shift so she’s pretty much always tired during the day. She just took a couple of days of to get ready for Christmas and spend time with her son that she never sees. Anyways, we have had their daughter all day long. Literally. They said they were going on a double date night with our sister and her boyfriend since ya know they never see each other. My mom agreed to it she didn’t mind, but she did tell him that she cant keep their daughter too late because she has to be up early tomorrow cooking and wrapping presents, getting ready for a Christmas party at my Grandmas. She’s literally cooking all the food that will be there which is a lot and then has a ton of presents that she needs to wrap since she didn’t have time to before because of work. She made sure he knew they needed to be back by a certain time. He “promised” they would be back at 12am. It’s is now 3:20 am and they aren’t back yet. I’m mad for my mom because she has so much to do and this is the first time she’s been off from work like this in awhile and hasn’t got to rest yet, I just feel like they are taking advantage of her and I hate it so much. I texted him at 1am asking when he would be back and again telling him our mom has to be up early tomorrow and he never even replied. I know my mom didn’t have to do this but she didn’t want to say no to him.
