I have a 5 and a half month old and all of a sudden he has begun spitting up and even throwing up at times. He has not started solids or anything other than formula. He takes Similac Advance (Blue can) since the day he was born and has never had issues until now.

I need to go through 3-4 outfits a day and continuously wash covers and blankets in crib and it's driving me crazy. He only spits up when he's sitting down and mostly it's small amounts every 10-15 minutes. He sits and plays with his toys and then he just begins coughing and then BOOM spit up all over himself.

Any tips or advice will help! Should I start him on foods? Change his formula? Has anyone else had this issue? I have read also that it can be because he's teething but really? Does teething cause the spit up?
