Can he actually get in trouble for this?

Okay so the guy I’ve been talking to (which I don’t think it’s going anywhere now because of this... which sucks cuz I really liked him a lot) works for this radio station here in the city I live at, and he also works at this sandwich shop as a side job but both jobs have something to do with each other, anyway I went into the sandwich shop because it’s next to my job and asked if he worked there while I was ordering and happened to speak to the cashier (a girl who never liked me... she bullied me in high school) and now it turns out that she snitched and he got written up for talking to me and now he might loose his job at the sandwich shop which will fuck up his job at the radio station. Anyway he’s super mad about what happened. I think I ruined any chance I had at dating him.

Also something hella weird, the sandwich shop recorded me saying that I was talking to him and used that as evidence to write him up. I’m pretty sure half of what I just said is illegal but what do you guys think? Is it illegal? Should he be as mad as he is? Him and I aren’t going to date anymore since I screwed up so badly.... idk what to do because I was really happy with him and now I’m not going to be.
