broken foot

hey guys I recently broke my foot well more specifically it's a displaced metatarsal fracture. I was prescribed tramadol but it makes me very sick and I get close to fainting. so I can't take it anymore they were 50mg tabs but I broke them in half and still had the negative effect. Tylenol doesn't do much at all anymore and I'm allergic to ibuprofen and asprin/ other NSAIDs. what should I do? I would normally smoke a little but if weed since it is legal in my state but I'm not making money right not and waiting for my workers comp to come through. I have an orthopedic appointment Thursday first thing in the morning and another Dr appointment tomorrow for a different reason. my foots been elevated and I've iced it, I use my crutches, and leave my boot on like the doctor said.
