It's seen as a problem because people think that their thoughts on someone else's body should dictate laws about it. You can find breasts sexual but also think that breastfeeding in public is okay, like I do. There's lots of men who compare it to their dicks (ew), and lots of women who say they don't want their partners looking at other women's breasts. It's okay to find breasts sexual. It's's okay to not agree with breastfeeding in public. It's not okay to shame someone for doing something and making laws to stop them doing it, all because you can't keep your own opinions about something that doesn't affect you to yourself

No it’s because women are still not considered equal to men on a societal scale. I was literally thinking about this two days ago because I was on the street in the freezing cold and these two men were walking and one had an open jean jacket on with nothing underneath. Literally just his bare chest on display and nobody gave a crap. It was freezing out. Had a woman have done that there would probably be a big hype on social media with pictures and articles saying how stupid she is.

I would say specifically with extended breastfeeding. My daughter is 13 months so now it’s all of a sudden a problem that she’s breastfed.

Not really an issue anywhere outside of the USA. I remember being in Cuba where men are always staring at and make loud comments about women’s butts and breasts. One time I was on a crowded cuban bus and a woman and her baby had fallen asleep while she was breast feeding him. Her breast was out in the open for anyone to look at. I looked at every man around her to see if they were staring at her breast and it not even one was looking they were all ignoring her breast.

Boobs=food to a baby. Our country sexualizes breasts to the point where a natural act is viewed as indecent. Oy. 🙁
