RSV and mad

So a little back story my daughters fathers other daughter had RSV the week before Christmas. It was so bad she had to be hospitalized. They were in for almost a week but sent home the Friday before Christmas eve. He insisted she was fine because they were sent home and he had to have his visitation with her for Christmas even though I didn't feel good about it. Sure enough my daughter came home with a "cold" and now my infant has RSV. I'm so mad. I feel it was so selfish on his part. Now I'm sitting here praying it doesn't get so bad that I have to take her to the hospital. 😔 Has anyone else been through RSV in an infant? What did you do for relief since medicine is a no go?
