Low sperm count

Can someone please help...

I got tested and I’m normal, my husband has slow sperm count but our infertility doctor said he would only use Clomid with IUI. He won’t even give us a chance to use Clomid for a few months to conceive naturally. Does anyone know why he won’t just prescribe him Clomid first? I’ve heard so many success stories with just Clomid, am I missing something? I’m just so frustrated!

Should I try to see another doctor?
