Suggestions?

We have a 3 bedroom house, but two bedrooms are in the basement and I would prefer not to have the nursery in the basement so we plan on putting the baby stuff in our master bedroom, which is fairly large. Have any other moms done this and how did it work out long term?

We plan on having the baby in our room for the first three months. After that, our little one is going into his/her own room. I don’t want a child that is dependent on sleeping with mom and dad way too late in life. I have an 8-year-old cousin who climbs into his parents’ bed every night, and it drives them crazy.

I’ve had all of mine set up in my room for at least the first 8 months to a year. I’ve got a fairly large master bed room so it’s been no issue to add the crib and changing table. Baby is going to need lots of your attention day and night for the first few months at the very least so it’s just more convenient to have them in your room.
