Can some please help me understand

I was supposed to get an IUD today. Due to results from my Pap Smear, my dr. wouldn’t do it. Which is fine. I would rather be safe about it. I just need help understanding the results that came back.

My Pap showed abnormal levels (I don’t know what this means exactly) and that I tested positive for chlamydia.

I was given an antibiotic to treat the chlamydia. And recommended to take Folic acid to help the abnormal levels.

With all of this being said she was hesitant on me getting the IUD at all due to high chance of infection.

Can someone please help me understand all of this. I should have asked more questions but I was kind of in shock with everything and didn’t know what to ask until after I left. I am going to call my dr and talk with her when I can get through. I go back in 4 weeks. But I would like more answers now 😬
