I’m 😃

Okay so I see a lot of negative stories where the outcome is usually that some girls are with some pretty shitty guys and I wanted to post something a bit happier, but I still need advice. My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year now and the whole time has been long distance because he’s a marine and I’m in the army. We see each other a couple times a month and last December I spent the whole month with him and his family. We’ve talked a lot about marriage and moving in together but we are about 6 hours apart currently and there only closest marine base is 3 hours away but he can’t go there. Anyways so he has a mild heart problem that gives him really bad headaches, and he’s passed out a couple times from the pain but has been getting better. He signed up for a different duty that requires him gone for 3 years (one year at a time but consecutively) and I would have to travel outside the country to go visit him and there is no guarantee that for that whole year I could see him at all.

Like I said our whole relationship has been long distance and I have been the happiest I have ever been, he really is an amazing guy and I love him to death I just can’t imagine not seeing him for a year. I was sure that his heart condition would stop him from getting picked but it didn’t and he leaves in may, and I have been a mess ever since he told me back in November.

He got me a cat for the times he is gone and I know he’s trying his best to make this easier for me I just already miss him and I saw him last weekend, so I can’t imagine going a whole year
