school housing is a money sucker.

I am an international student from Japan who is wanting to pursue in a legal filed , and eventually want to be a lawyer. I live in a school dorms for 3 quarter, but I needed to go back to Japan for my health issues. I have a hyperthyroidism and its been worst. my hear bear is faster than ever and one stress cab impact it a lot. I am away from school right now due to my illness and I have explained the same thing to the housing manager and he told me before that "I can keep my room ", but he meant as not to returned the money I already paid and now that I don't live there currenly. I was hoping he could forward the payment for Spring, but he said he can not because it was too late to cancel. I mean, the contract did not state in such circumstances and now he's putting the fault in me. My quarterly tuitions runs up from $3600 to $3800 without books or any other necessity. plus for housing every quarter i have to pay $2350 and now I just paid for nothing, he expects me to pay again. Like what the heck? what a ripped off. if something happens to me now, he's the blame. why do I need to be the bad one here ? it is because my language level or that I'm not Americans? my parents pays my tuition every time I took a class. but this why, I didn't live in the housing and now charging me. scammer.
