After 12 years together, is he cheating?

We've been married for 9 years, together for 12, and we have an 8 yo daughter, we've had our problems, gone to counseling, marriage classes, etc...but here recently I've been having lady problems. In November I had a UTI and some abnormal bleeding so I went to the OBGYN and was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis. I went through the course of antibiotics as prescribed and also had to do a course of antifungals for the resulting yeast infection. And now I'm going through the same thing without the UTI and this time the doctor decided to test me for STIs, I'm still waiting on the test results.....what is the possibility that this is all just something that happened? Does this mean he's cheating?

No, it doesn't mean he's cheating. And keep in mind that some STIs can remain dormant for years before showing up.. but none of what you are experiencing is an STI at the moment. BV, yeast infections, and UTIs are all pretty common issues. It's also possible that you're passing the yeast infection back and forth of he was never treated as well. If you're concerned that he is cheating though, you should talk to him about it. Good luck!

these are all common issues. unless there are more details you arent sharing,  i wouldnt assume hes cheating. if you get an std...then i would say yes.

UTIs, yeast infections, and BV are all incredibly common. And the nasty cycle of BV, get a YI from the treatment, get BV again from the treatment, and so on is unfortunately quite common as well.
I don't think any of that points to infidelity on his part. But if an STD panel comes back positive...then I'd have to say yes.
