I have the uppababy Mesa but I feel like it pushes the baby’s head forward so that their chin touches their chest. I wouldn’t recommend it for that purpose but it could be because I’m doing it wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

Look at CSFTL.org and their recommended seats. They have extensive reviews on seats that make great points. 
Car seats all meet the same safety standards but they aren’t all designed equally. A seat may be too large for your vehicle, too heavy to carry, or have a difficult install. So many factors. 
I use them to narrow my list and have a pros/cons to determine what seat works best for my specific needs.

I had a Graco Click Connect Snug ride 30 and I didn’t like it. When I got a convertible car seat I ended up not getting a Graco. They are all safe as long as installed properly but some are heavier , have different features etc.

we have a graco click connect snug ride that fits into a jogger stroller. I love it. super light weight. and it's all black. I don't like the patterned seats. lol

we went with the graco 35 click connect and it's so lightweight and then we switched to the graco 4ever convertible once he sat up more and he loves it he fall asleep when he's in it lol

I have a Graco infant seat that i love! I also got a Graco 4ever and chicco nextfit for convertible seats. I prefer the Graco. The chicco has huge sides and it would make me claustrophobic. My daughter is usually crabby in it. Plus it’s hard to buckle her in
