Scared and ttc

I found out I had a uterine polyp by going to the OB got painful periods. I have also been ttc for 7 months. He thinks the reason I am having bad periods is because the polyp is pretty big. Has anyone who had polyps had pain during intercourse? Or is that a sign of endo :-( he looks through the ultrasound and said that my ovaries and tubes look fine and dandy. I’m so worried.
