“How do you expect to be a good mom?” 😡

So I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and my fiancé’s sister has a 7 month old baby girl. Her baby is verrrry fussy with everyone except her daddy. Anyone that holds her gets a full on screaming fit... even her own mom. She likes to throw her self backwards outta people’s arms... so when people tell me to hold her I get a bit hesitant and just politely say no and laugh it off. Everytime they ask me why I don’t wanna hold her I try lightening up the subject and say I’m trynna get as much free time on me and my arms before my own baby is here

And just laugh it off. I’ve also been a bit sick since I’ve gotten my flu shot and I say I rather not risk the baby any sickness especially with how bad the flu is this year. My fiancé’s family goes on to say that I’m having my own baby and I better get the practice in while I can.. they always ask how do I expect to be a good mom when I won’t hold other people’s babies

and they “doubt I’ll be able to handle my own baby” I simply just sit there quietly out of respect for them. They always have other people (not always family) try and change the baby’s diaper, change her outfits, feed her, and try to put her to sleep... but she literally wants no one but her daddy. She screams not cries or whines but screams

They’re always saying that babies cry and I better get use to it now so they want me to just sit there with the baby in my arms crying... everytime someone holds the baby you can see how unhappy and uncomfortable she is.. and yea I get it she’s a baby and babies cry but then again I feel wrong just having a baby sit there screaming at the top of their lungs. I’m just tired of them trying to say I’ll probably be a bad mom since I won’t hold other babies.. how do I politely tell them that their words are kinda rude?? 🙄🙄🙄
