Needing advice!!!

Okay, so. Some background information. Boyfriend works, & I’m a stay at home mom. We live in a pretty shitty 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment, this entire winter the heat has not been working correctly & we have had no heat. Keep in mind, we have a 5 month old daughter. It’s 40 degrees.

Our lease is up next month & I mentioned switching apartments, not complex’s just apartments numbers. The rent is $50 more for a 2 br 2 b, washer & dryer hook ups, more space for baby to run around when she gets older & WORKING HEAT since those apartments have been upgraded. That works perfectly considering right now he has about $200 play around money. 50 taken out of that won’t hurt anything. His response is he can’t afford it. When I confront him w/the numbers (which he doesn’t think I know about Bc he is very careful to make sure I don’t know about “his” money) he said okay he just doesn’t want to Bc he wants the extra money to play around w......? Soooo, his babies well being comes second to materialistic items he wants?... not only did he lie to me about the money, he is being extremely selfish. Fight goes on & I tell him okay then since you want to keep lying to me about the money then I should get the money you are getting for my daughter in your tax return. He’s getting 7,000 back, but only 1,000 for her to which I think I rightly deserve since I have taken care of her completely by myself since the day she was born. & he tells me no. At this point it isn’t even necessarily about the apartment it’s about him lying to me & not treating me like a partner & equal to him. Now it’s my fault for getting mad about him lying. ADVICCEEEE
