Do you believe in love at first sight?

Question

Personally i don’t believe in love at first sight bc i feel like a person can be super attractive but might not be a good person. I feel like you can be “in love” with their looks and confuse if for actually being in love with them. Also i think it takes time to fall in love with someone, not in just one glance.

I never believed it until I met my SO 8 years ago.  I was already in a relationship and had no interest in anyone else.  One of my coworkers came to my desk to introduce me to an employee that was from another location/country and in town visiting.  I was busy and actually a little bothered I was being interrupted and hastily stood to shake hands.  As I did this I raised my head from my papers and my eyes met his.  My stomach instantly dropped and a huge wave came over me.  It was a feeling I’d never felt before!  After he walked away I thought to myself that this is the man I’m going to spend the rest of my life with and it’ll be 8 years for us this March 💕

I think it can happen. A few years ago I was out for lunch with a friend and noticed a guy kept looking over at us so i told her, she turned round and immediately smiled a massive grin when she saw him. I asked if she knew him and she said “never seen him before but i think I’m gunna marry him!” He came over and i felt like a spare wheel, 8months later they actually got married and now they have 2 kids!
