can weight really affect fertility?

my doctors have been telling that if I lose weight getting pregnant will be easier and I'm trying really hard, I have lost a little weight but I wanna know if it's really going to make that big of a difference.

It does make a big difference. I’m not sure how, but I know a lot of women who struggled with infertility while the were overweight, but once they started losing they got pregnant very quickly.

I think it might be because of all extra pressure excess weight puts on your organs as well because once you do get preggers your system works for 2

Not really I’m over weight and got pregnant in 8 months. I was on the depo shot from 2014-2016 so that also fried my reproductive system a little (if you are on it for a while you can lose fertility). 
Normally within a year you should get pregnant. I was told if it’s after a year talk to your doctor.

Statistically, women who are underweight struggle more with infertility. However, pregnancy is hard on our bodies and it is so much easier to manage if you have good cardiovascular health, muscle tone, a balanced diet and the motivation to keep moving throughout your pregnancy. My advice (which is what I did), continue to work out and eat well (I exercised 3 - 4 times a week and only ate high sugar foods on the weekend) whilst TTC. It worked for my Tom and I twice. 👌🏻 Good luck! I hope everything works out for you.

I tried for almost 4 years to get pregnant and I really think losing 60 pounds is what finally worked. Now I’m not saying you should lose 65 but every little bit helps.
