It hurts......I'm 14 and I told my favourite cousin I'm a Biromantic Lesbian.....he called me lesbo and told me it's just a faze....He is the first person who I've told in my family....and now I'm to scared to tell the rest of my family....He doesn't know how much it hurts....I'm sitting here crying because of him.....why.....

I’ve been told that my whole life that being pansexual was just a faze. I came out at 12 yrs old n now I am 27, married to a man, with a one year old, n my mother still believes to this day that it was all a faze n that I am straight. Errrr wrong. Ppl will have something to say and make u feel like ur sexuality is invalid or wrong but don’t allow their comments to make u feel less than. U may be young but u kno who u r so don’t let no one who is ignorant stop u from standing in ur truth n stop u from coming out.

aw love, it’s not a phase! if you’re scared of coming out to your family i would suggest waiting until you are more comfortable and ready to come out to them. know that you have a huge community supporting you and who love you! good luck xx

When I told some people in my family I was asexual they would say you just haven't gone through puberty or something like that. In the end I had to learn to accept myself and not to let other change how I feel. It can be really hard but I hope things get better. Your really brave for coming out to him!!
