Is this normal??

Sorry if this is TMI, but my doctor checked my cervix earlier today and it was just very light pink/ brown spotting a few hours after she checked and now it’s getting more thicker and is turning bright red. I just wanted to know if this was normal or not because I didn’t have this with my daughter a few years ago. If it helps I’m 35+3 and on the ultrasound today he was measuring at 36+6 and is extremely low. The doctor checked my cervix and said it was very soft

No, it’s not normal. Your doctor likely irritated your cervix with the check, causing the bleeding. Id call to complain and let them know what’s happening. I wouldn’t let them be doing any more checks until they figured out to do them properly. Cervical checks when done properly should not be painful or cause any bleeding.

I would call and ask, honestly. I know some brown/pink spotting is normal after a check but this just reminds me of bloody show, especially if it’s getting redder and bleeding more. Good luck!
