Roommates

So my husband and I are a military family and getting stationed in Norfolk Virginia where all of our friends live. Well We’re house hunting and he said we should get roommates, which meant his best friends would move in, however we found out a couple days later that we’re expecting our first. Well he wants to live in a super expensive area because that’s where his friends are, but says if we won’t have roommates then I better pay the remaining part of the rent that BAH doesn’t cover. Mind you, I have found PLENTY of houses in our budget that allow BAH to cover rent and utilities but since it’s not where he wants it then he just bitches about them. I’m not going to have his friends live with us and our newborn. Its not happening. Especially when he’s going to deploy six months after the baby is born and I’ll be stuck with his two friends and our baby. I am beyond frustrated at this point.
