Financially unstable

My boyfriend had recently left his job and now I’m the only one working. We live together and recently found out that we will be having a baby soon. I feel he has absolutely no motivation to get a new job either, he’s just been playing video games and doing nothing ever since he quit. Today my friend had offered him $20/hour to come shovel snow with him around the city and instead of going he just went to sleep. My job doesn’t have any kind of paid maternity leave since I’m considered part time due to responsibilities of being in college and I am really worried about what will happen if he doesn’t get his ass in gear. I won’t be able to do it on my own and as hard as I try to help him he just gets defensive. There’s so much that we need to worry about but instead of doing anything about it he’s making it seem to me like nothing matters. What should I do?
