Bf meeting my parents

My boyfriend said he was really nervous and scared to meet my parents and my parents really want to me him, so yesterday I brought it up and he said idc and that he gives zero fucks I’m not sure if he was joking or not? I don’t know if he doesn’t want to actually meet them or if he’s really that anxious about it. Can anyone help?? People said our relationship won’t last long, I want to be supportive and not pressure him
