My best friend hates my boyfriend! Help!

So my best friend/roommate hates my boyfriend. The thing is she’s never met him. We all went to high school together but that was 10+ yrs ago. In her opinion he’s not good enough bc he works at a gas station. He works 40+ hrs a week and supports himself but she thinks he’s a loser. Her biggest problem is his appearance. He’s not tall and skinny so therefore she says he’s ugly. He’s the sweetest guy I’ve ever been with and I can really see this going somewhere. Every time I bring him up she makes a disgusted face and gets annoyed. Just me going to his house causes problems. She’ll be mad at me for hrs once I tell her I’m going to his house. It’s becoming a real problem not only in our friendship but in my relationship. What do I do?!?
