Can a yeast infection cause...

I’m on metformin for pcos, and anovulatory cycles. I’m a lean pcos-er who bleeds all the time. Since I started taking metformin, I haven’t had any issues with bleeding.

I have a yeast infection and started meds for it yesterday. I’m not sure why, but I woke up with some pretty bad right sided pain (making me nauseas) and now am having bright red spotting. If I have a real cycle, I should be ovulating soon...

So do you think the pain could be from the yeast infection or from ovulation?
