Mommies of BIG babies at birth!

I need some encouraging vaginal delivery stories from those of your who delivered 8.5lb+ babies vaginally. I’m feeling discouraged at the large measurement of my baby. I’m happy she’s healthy but really want to try for vaginal and know a big baby increases likelihood of c section.

(I know the measurements are often wrong, however, my OB sent me to Maternal Fetal Medicine for a specific ultrasound to check growth. The tech told me she’s usually within a few ounces) I’m 38 weeks and she’s already 9lbs.
