Brown spotting- 6-7 weeks

Hi everyone, I’m freaking out a bit. I have been spotting on and off for a week now. Has an early scan at 6 weeks 2 on Tuesday due to previous m/c and baby was fine with heartbeat. However since then I have started to brown spot. Yesterday there was quite a bit in my pants and I had lots of stronger “pulling” sensations in my sides. I have heard this is normal and old blood but I still so worried ! Anyone have this and have a successful pregnancy ?
