Okay ladies so we all (hopefully) are aware that guys and girls can be friends without incident or sexual involvement.

And it should be totally okay to communicate with these male friends while in a relationship, so long as your partner is cool with it (which he should be except for some very explicit reason I mean come on this is 2018 we’re not just vaginas on legs running around getting d*cked down by every dude we meet....and even if we are that’s our choice sooo...)

Anywaysssss.. the real root of this issue here is even if your SO is cool with you talking to others outside of your relationship, and regardless of whether or not your SO is friends with the other individual) how often is too often to talk to the other person? Is there even such a thing? Maybe you talk to this person more often than your SO sometimes (purposely or not), is that okay? How far do you ladies think a relationship outside of your romantic relationship should be allowed to flourish before it’s become just too much? How close is too close? How often is too often?

**PSA: these are just shower thoughts, not something I’m personally struggling with or anything but some people may be and I think it’s an interesting topic.
