Has anyone done this test and how does it go? 
Is it invasive? 
Is it common? 
Trying to find info but I’m not really finding anything clear about it rather get info from mums threat have had it done!!

It’s common between 35-37 weeks. It’s just a cotton swab of the vaginal canal and rectum. I wouldn’t say it’s invasive.

what they said. I tested positive and all I had to do was get an iv of antibiotics while in labor.

Everyone gets tested. It's just a swab of the vaginal and recom area. It's no big deal if you have it. You just would need antibiotics.

I would say it’s invasive - it’s a giant q tip that gets stuck into your vagina. I was allowed to do it myself though, I wasn’t comfortable with someone else doing it. It’s pretty standard testing.
