What does it feel like before getting an outbreak?

I had unprotected sex about a month ago and have been having sex with the same guy all month. I had a yeast infection the day after we first had sex and took diflucan and it went away. 6 days ago I noticed part of outer labia was a little sore. Not red or raised or anything but it felt irritated. Like an Indian sunburn on my cooch. I shaved to see if it was anything but there's nothing. I heard before an outbreak the spot hurts and tingles a little so Im high key freaking out, but it only really tingles when I think about it. Could it just be me being paranoid?? Or is that what it actually feels like.
