Anyone afraid of their water breaking in the shower?

My due date is approaching and I’m so nervous my water is going to break in the shower and I’m not going to notice 😅 I know it sounds silly!

Oh you will notice.  Mine broke while laying on the couch.  So I went in the bathroom and stood in the shower.  Once my husband got home 10min later I took off my soggy clothes and took a shower.  It kept pouring out. It was hard to get dressed!  Trust me you can't shut it off.  At least I couldn't

From what I’ve been told you can definitely tell when it breaks and I’d love to be in the shower when it happens. Lol I’m not looking forward to if it breaks while I’m in bed or on my couch or something lol shower= easy clean up! Haha

Your water might not even break! I was at a doctor appointment when they said I was 6cm dilated and needed to go next door to have the baby 😂 lol! My water hadn’t broken and my contractions weren’t bad yet/weren’t regular

The only time my water broke on its own was during labor about 20 minutes before my second was born and that junk came gushing out! Lol if it does happen to be a small break in the shower then you will continue to leak even after you are out and dried off so you’ll know :) 
And to anyone who doesn’t know you need to go to the hospital within 24 hours of your water breaking, even if contractions aren’t feeling intense, because of the risk of infection to you and Baby!

if anything, I'm hoping that's where it will happen so I don't have much of a mess to clean after (just sanitize the tub and good to go!) haha

I'd rather it break there than on the couch or at the grocery store lol. Less mess and no embarrassment. I wouldn't worry about not noticing it because water breaking leads to contractions which you'd definitely notice.

My last pregnancy I got up and peed. Went back to bed and I heard a pop and I threw myself out of bed because I knew it was my water. It didn’t guess for me. But it set on pot and it would just keep coming. I stock a big towel between legs while I made calls to get hubby home and my mom to get kids, ect.

I’m scared of mine breaking at work and having to call janitor to clean it up or having to explain to a student I didn’t pee myself 😂
