Hi! So my boyfriend and I have been dating long distance for about a year. We had planned on getting engaged in the beginning of July, but because I ended up taking summer classes and he was accepted into a strenuous internship program, we’re postponing it until we’re finished with class at the end of August or early September. I understand and it makes sense; this is really important to us and we don’t want to feel rushed/stressed trying to fly to see each other for a weekend, plus it would be really expensive. For some reason I’m still really disappointed and can’t seem to shake it?? It’s not even like it’s that much farther from our original expected timeframe. Does anybody have any advice/thoughts on this?
