NIPT scan

Has anyone had experience getting the scan done and having it covered by tricare? I'm considered high risk but was just told my my dr that tricare won't cover it because I'm too young.

Update: Well after going back and forth on the phone with Tricare, my high risk clinic and my ob all week Tricare is still saying they won't cover it. Not sure that I can do anything else at this point. Would you highly recommend getting this test done? I've done some research but it's 50/50 from what Ive read. It'll be $800 out of pocket so I want to know if it will be beneficially. They are covering the ultrasound- it's the blood work that won't be covered. Thanks again everyone!
