Flawless Home Birth

Around 5 this Sunday morning

I started having contractions that were painful but pretty irregular. At around 7 they were consistent but not really painful anymore. At around 8 they were only 4 minutes apart but still not super painful. Like I had my husband braid my hair,drank a java chip frappe and ate an egg sandwhich. Put some makeup on and cleaned the house because we were planning a home birth. After about an hour my contractions were still consistent but not super painful but my husband insisted I call the midwife. So I called her emphasizing that I didn’t think it was true labor yet but she said she wanted to come check dilation since I have a history of fast labors. She got there 30 minutes later. At this point it was 10:30. I let her check my dilation and lo and behold I’m dilated to a 9! I call my mom. Once she arrives the midwife breaks my water and my little girl is out in 4 pushes. The most perfect home birth I could imagine. Now after 3 amazing boys I have a beautiful cherry on top. My Vivienne Austen 😍 6lbs 15 oz & 20 inches of squish.
