Pics ?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3.5 years. We barely have any pics of us together because he hates pictures of himself. Every time i ask “can we take some pics together?” he always turns me down. It makes me upset because the pictures we have together were taken 1-2 years ago and the newest one was probably a year ago. How can i get him to be more willing to take more pictures of us? 😕

I had the same issue, but i was the one that didn’t like taking pictures 😂 I’ve always been so insecure but my bf would always tell me how beautiful i look in pictures so that kind of made me feel better about myself. Now I’m the one that’s always asking to take selfies 😂 So yea maybe just talk to him and boost his confidence! Good luck!

Maybe reassure him that the pictures are for keepsake and not for social media, and build on that from there, baby steps. Don’t forget, you probably do this already, but also tell him things you like about him. Some people love or find attractive things but don’t express or say them. People with low self-esteem feel uncomfortable with compliments, so maybe work on that as well. Where a compliment starts to make him feel happy and puts a pep in his step, not uncomfortable. Honestly, self-esteem and confidence won’t happen overnight, but hopefully, you guys can get to a point where you share a couple of photos each year at least for special occasions like birthdays, Christmas, New Year’s, etc., whether on social media or with family members because you’re feeling matter too.

Ye mine just takes them with me. I roll my eyes in 1/2 of them, so he has learned to take a lot and usually gets a couple good ones :)
