Ladies this sounds silly I know but I need a stylists advice. I have not dyed my hair in 3+ years. My hair is brown but the ends are some what blonde. One it grows out the ends lighten. I love the natural ombré look, but my hair is some what golden/warm. Is there anyway I could use a toner or the blonde shampoo to turn it into a cooler brown? Or is the only option hair dye. I know nothing about all this so bear with me lol

Yes you can make it a cooler brown. Violet or blue shampoo& if you ask around, see what cosmetologists use, ask if they use redken & for an 09v tone.

You may be able to order this off line, as I know it’s sold in stores for professionals only. However this my help eliminate brassy tons making your brown more cool/ash. I would be careful about getting it onto the blonde however. Hope this helps.

Can you post a picture of your hair now and what you mean by "cooler brown"?

There is a toning shampoo called Purple shampoo. It deposits tone into the blonde without lightening or damaging. You can get it at any beauty supply store. I'm platinum blonde and it keeps my hair from becoming brassy.
