Backstabbing best friend?

Okay so let me start out with, ive had many best friends but this situation confused me.

I've been friends with a girl for 10+ years, we hang out almost constantly and recently I got into church and started going frequently. Now I told her the night I got baptized that I was happy and that being apart of the church made me feel needed.

She wasn't happy. She was angry with me and went off about how I didn't need religious people in my life. I recently told her I needed to work on myself separate from being friends. This wasn't meant to be a permanent thing just for a small section so I could get my shit together and be a better person.

Ive recently found out shes been telling my business to anyone willing to listen, and over a course of a decade she learned a lot about me, therefore some very private things were posted and I saw them today and now I'm deeply upset. I feel like I can't trust anyone and now I'm worried about what she's said and what shes kept to herself.

I don't know what to do... anyone been through this before?
