You know your living and familiar with your surroundings it’s just you feel a weird way every now and then?

It’s called dissociation, it’s common in people with anxiety or depression. Try and ground yourself if it happens, here’s what I do: 
Say out loud on in your head (better out loud) 
5 things you can see
4 things you can hear
3 things you can touch (and how they would feel)
2 things you can smell
1 thing you could taste 
It brings you back to reality :)

Yes. It’s very difficult to explain what happens but randomly I’ll sometimes get this feeling like I’m not myself and everything around me looks different. I logically know where I am and who I am, but it doesn’t feel that way. I get very nauseous and sick feeling when this happens as well.
