Potty Training Help

My youngest is currently 2 (January baby) and will be 3 for a month before the third baby is born.

He is showing signs that he's ready and will take off his diaper and go potty but has only done this twice in the past 4 or 5 months.

I just don't feel like he is there yet. He is showing all the bodily signs, a big one being he is mostly dry when he wakes up in the morning. He also is kind of resisting actually going unless it is on his agenda.

I don't plan on potty training until after the baby is born but that's a long way off and the difference between a 2 and 2.5 year old is huge.

What I am doing now is not pushing it but when he does go potty, he gets a high value snack that he never gets any other time.

Would you start now, wait until summer to see if he is willing or completely hold off until a new baby arrives?
