Ultrasounds

Hey ladies. I’m hoping to get some opinions on the necessity of ultrasounds. I will be 12+6 tomorrow and I have my first doctors appointment. In September, I miscarried the day following a transvaginal ultrasound, and from my research I found lots of other women who lost their babies the day after the same kind of ultrasound. I’m sure it was from the wand poking around my cervix, but now that I’m far along enough for an on the belly ultrasound, I’m debating if I will have one done or if I will wait for my 20 week anatomy scan. What are your opinions on ultrasounds? I’ve read they *may* raise the temperature of babies brain and that scares me.
